“During our COZY retreat in Healdsburg, we set time aside for a site inspection at NewTree Ranch. It became one of the most memorable parts of our weekend. Just minutes from town, the ranch unfolds across 120 acres of Redwoods and rolling hills. The moment you arrive, you feel the shift. Life slows down. There is space to reconnect, to pause, and to enjoy a kind of restorative luxury that feels rare.

A Story of Vision and Stewardship

NewTree began with co-founder Edward Newell, who purchased a small parcel of land in Sonoma while searching for a deeper relationship with nature. Over time, that vision grew into what is now a self-sustaining estate. Today, the ranch generates most of its own energy through solar panels, sources water entirely from its wells and lake, and supports projects in reforestation, bee rewilding, and biodynamic farming.
