Squash blossoms, purple potatoes and arugula are just some of the fresh ingredients our guests have been using on their pizzas. This pizza experience is not like ordering delivery. Rather it begins by taking a walk in the farm, spending time with the plants and seeing what’s in season. On Mirepoix Hill, the carrots are looking ready. Onions and celery need more time though. The beets are bursting and potatoes are ready for harvest. As one guest put it, “I love that picking toppings for my pizza requires digging.” Fresh ingredients from our farm, on homemade pizza dough, cooked in the outdoor pizza oven – now that’s a perfect pizza.
